Thirteen plays longer than its carded yardage.  Do not hit driver here; 5 wood or a lofted 3 wood leave you in a much better position to challenge the green.  A drive that tries to cut too much of the corner will leave the player with no shot, as a large chestnut tree guards the right side. The approach should be a mid-iron to a large, relatively flat green.  Watch out for the right side pin location, as this brings the creek into play due to a forced left-to-right shot around the tree.
