Ballyntyne National Golf Club
Hole 9 - Par 5 (Members), 523 Yards / Par 4 (Championship), 487 Yards
The ninth plays as a par 5 for the Members, but is played to a par 4 for Championship play. Do not get too cute with the drive, as shaving off yards for your second shot is far less important than finding the fairway. A calm wind or tailwind will always let you get to the green in two (albeit with a long iron); if you are second-guessing the wind or your ability to fly the lake inlet, there is ample room to lay up for a pitch and putt about fifty yards in front of the green. Green slopes right-to-left towards the lake, but falls off the back to a collection area for any shot that does not hold the green.
